Florian aka Floyd Müller

My name is Florian Müller, my nickname is Floyd. It starts with the same three letters, so I think it is a pretty nice international version of my name which not many native-english speaking people can pronounce. Not to mention the french, who think it is a woman's name, because of the same pronounciation as Florianne.

My surname is Müller, German for miller. The international correct spelling is Mueller, but for the Australian visa form it has to be spelled Muller, that is why administration centres sometimes think I cannot spell my own surname when they find me under a different folder.

I am 26 years old. I grew up in Germany and have lived in Australia and the USA. I currently finish my degree "Digital Media" in Germany. I passed all my exams and now I am writing on my biggest task so far, the final thesis. I chose the topic 'User Interface Design for Video' which I am doing at the FX Palo Alto Laboratory, USA.

Of course, I speak English and German now and I also learnt French during exchange programs.
