Tele-academy Furtwangen, Germany

In 1997 I had the chance to do a project with one of the leading open learning institutions in Germany, the "Tele-academy" (Tele-Akademie) in Furtwangen. In a team of three we recorded all of their teaching sessions, edited the video material and cut down the content to make it net suitable. We also restructured the content, designed the webpage, and put the RealVideo files on the Internet.

The content creation and video editing process was completely different to "normal" video productions. I learned a lot about education and instructional design in terms of producing content for the Internet. I think this knowledge will be in high demand in the future because the online educational market is still growing.
